Here is some rice in the field, growing in the water. Some is still young and standing tall.

These grains are getting heavier and leaning over.

This is a bagworm or minomushi - a little wormy creature uses bits of the leaf stem to disguise itself and then will emerge as a fly. These have eaten about a third of my tree.
