Update on Little Garden

It's time to plant garlic. The seedlings for daikon radish and carrots have just come up and we are taking care to keep them moist because it is so dry this year. We had a little rain the other day but not enough and we don't have a water source near the garden so we have to wheelbarrow jugs from the house. We just harvested sesame seeds! Honestly, it's not worth the trouble. Half of them are either dropped or blown away when you are sorting through them. If you are a day late in harvesting, the pods will open in the field and all the seeds fall out.
