Mini typhoon disrupts work

Yesterday was a perfect spring day. Today, I finally had a chance to pull the rest of the turnips, globe daikon and the last of the spinach along with the big weeds that have flourished during this rainy week. I plowed the end of the field to prepare it for spring plantings when a powerful wind came in from the south and blew me off my feet. It takes quite a wind to do that. Along with driving rain, I ran for the house with a wheel barrow full of roots. I feel like we will never get our spring chores underway.
