Recycling
Even though we have more than a dozen different recycling options, there isn't a section for non-PET plastic bottles, such as shampoo bottles and the like. Apparently, they are to be burned. That is one reason we went to the Clean Center because we have a collection of soap bottles, fertilizer bottles, herbicide bottles, old sports type plastic water bottles - they all are to be incinerated, not recycled. The garbage service doesn't pick up styrofoam or packing worms either. When it is so difficult to dispose of, it makes me keenly aware of all the waste we create in our modern lives!
