Weather and Chores

I have had enough computer madness - this is not an online world, it is all a deception. I still cannot pay bills receive money or transfer funds in America using an American bank account with a foreign address. This is why people lie and become criminal.

So I went outside to dig up more sod. I decided to complete the path from the driveway to the doghouse which has been overgrown with lawn during my four year absence. I was more organized - cutting strips first and then digging it out. This way, I could lay the strips on the bank of the no-man's land.

The no-man's land is an irregular hunk of land between our house and the new house built behind us that used to be a county road. The only part of the road that exists is about 25 feet, 8 feet wide at the opening and narrowing into nothing as it disappears into private property. Although it technically is property of the county, they never have and most likely never will do anything to maintain it, so I feel responsible since it is near my house and I need to look at it. It is all overgrown with weeds and wild bamboo and it has a slope that goes down into the open drainage canal. I figured that this would be a good place to lay my sod - it would be easier to take care of a slope of crappy lawn than tangled weeds. The slope is comprised of loose rubble, broken bits of old roof tiles, construction waste and garbage so it is generally unpleasant to care for. I pulled weeds and placed the sod squares and will hope for the best.

I am sore and tired and no longer consumed with my dislike of the Bank of America.
